Deia Consulting International’s (DCI) specifically provides international sales, marketing, and distribution consulting services to large and small software companies – manufacturers, publishers, professional services firms, distributors, and resellers – in a variety of industries.
Our global-oriented focus has helped clients maximize the creation and conversion of demand for their brands, products, and services in countries throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Our focus is global sales and marketing strategy and its role in helping businesses win. We are highly experienced and seasoned global sales and marketing executives. From country-specific and focused direct and indirect foreign sales strategies, executive-level global strategy consulting, international virtual marketing services, to localization and translation services, we can deliver the expertise you need.

Who We Are

Deia Consulting International, Inc. (DCI) is a global software sales and marketing consulting firm committed to improving the quality of international business and the efficiency of operations that support it. With the goal of offering valuable insight into international sales, global marketing, education & training, and localization/translation processes and best practices, our firm uniquely focuses on what your target customers and resellers think, do, and plan.
The company's principal is Yuri Mauricio Burka, an expert and thought leader in the convergence of global business, international sales and marketing channels, global software technology, and localization/translation services.

Deia Consulting Management Team
Yuri Mauricio Burka has spent the last 10 years of his career building and managing international sales and marketing teams for various software companies. Yuri has been involved in global sales and marketing planning and execution for variety of software companies in the areas of Education, Scientific Computing, Design and Engineering Analysis - as well as localization and translation services firms. Prior to founding DCI, Yuri was the Executive Director for International Business Development at Knowledge Revolution and MSC Software – the industry leaders for both Professional and Educational Software Solutions for Engineering and Science. Yuri also worked as an international business consultant at Bowne Global Solutions – the world-wide leader for Globalization/Internationalization/Localization Solutions and Services. He has worked with global technology partners such as IBM, SGI, and SUN, and software providers such as Apple, Autodesk, and Microsoft.
With degrees in International Business and Marketing, Yuri is a graduate of the University of Colorado Business School, and attended Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California to work on his MBA. He speaks fluent English and Spanish, and is proficient in Portuguese as well. He divides his time between our offices in San Francisco, California and Barcelona, Spain.
